Well Rooted Learning sprouted from educator Ashley Amsden's (she/her) desire to spend more time engaging students in the high-impact learning experiences that had been so powerful for students at her school. With her training in Math Recovery and guided by research on best practices in math intervention, she began offering math tutoring services in 2022. 

Ashley works with students in preschool through eighth grade. While her specialty is mathematics, she is also trained and experienced in language arts, science, and social studies. She has extensive experience with neurodivergence and learning differences, understands the IEP/504 process, and enjoys the challenge of working with all kinds of learners. She works with students of all races, colors, religions, sexes, sexual orientations, gender identities/expressions, and national origins.
